I live where winters get snowy and cold, and wear some of my linen knit tees through the entire year. They hang in my main closet year round, ready to go. Two shirts are long-sleeved, so are good for casual work days indoors. I work from home. Two linen short-sleeved tees--one gray, one striped--work with a couple of my jackets on middling autumn days where the weather is not yet freezing. I just like the fabric, which has become wonderfully soft and supple over the years.
Deep cold winter means cashmere to me, not linen, so I simply don't reach for linen then.
Linen does, for the most part, have a hot weather vibe for me, so I hang my white jeans, linen pants, and most other linen away until the weather gets warm again.
