Remember a few years ago when Angie posted about how flat shoes and low heels were becoming more and more available and that soon the majority of 'regular' (not athletic) shoes in stores would be flat or nearly flat? I do, because I remember thinking, "yeah, that sounds lovely...and I don't think it'll ever happen."

Well, I am here to officially beg Angie's pardon for doubting her, because I was just browsing Asos's shoe section and almost all the shoes were flat or with heels smaller than two inches. The traditional pumps and stilettos are in the definite minority. I've seen the same trends at DSW and at higher end stores.

Now, let's just hope that the tides of fashion can wait to shift for a little bit while we stock up...
