The kittens are adorable. Alaska is gorgeous. I must get there some day.

They are part Maine Coon. It is interesting how many feral cats have Maine in them. Here is my "Simba." His mother was NOT Maine Coon & either was his Sister so his Father must have been. I adopted him a year ago based on this picture I found on the Internet:

Yes, I have now studied them quite a bit - they have tufted ears, neck ruffs, furry paws, and the telltale markings on their face. They are also very social and responsive. If they are indeed part Maine Coon I would be thrilled but we are in love no matter what!

Marie, your cat is beautiful!

Awww! I love cats.

Oh my goodness, they are so adorable! Has a decision been made on their names yet, I wonder.

They are Hawaiian names - Hoku (Star) and Lani (Sky)!

Now, they are gorgeous Kitties!!

I love those names!

And you realize you have a grave responsibility now: post kitten photos daily!!!

How exciting! We had a Belgian sheep dog that came with a registered Hawaiian name...something like Lahialaya ( it meant princess of the lava).
Wishing you lots of joy.

OMG they are into everything and we haven't even let them have the run of the house yet! Kona met them and was excited but restrained herself - one kitten was unafraid, the other all spitting. Our cat Serra was sort of scornful. So far it's about as I expected... Getting better at telling them apart too.

Sooo adorable! And I love the names.

Those baby's are adorable, those ear tufts are so cute. They could get quite large too. If I remember, Maine Coone likes water, and grows big.
you Alaska pics are always so nice. Great post.

Too cute for words! Melting.
