WDYT: Is this an IT friendly dress?

I'm not an anthropologie shopper but this dress caught my eye. Do you think this is suitable for an IT? It's a Maeve dress which I think is a brand?

Possibly- the flared skirt might 'balance ' wider shoulders nicely.

First thought that piped into my head was Information Technology. Because that is what I do for a living. Lol

I have no idea the answer to your question but I really like it. I love things that flow and this does that.

Like Lyn, I think the dress will do a good job of balancing out an Inverted Triangle's broad shoulders.

I agree that the flared hem will kind of balance wider shoulders. I think it's a cute dress, too!

As a fellow IT, KG, I would say that my one concern would be that a full skirt "balancing out" the strong shoulder line would result in sort of a blocky silhouette: naturally wide at the shoulders, artificially wide at the hemline, and no defined waist to provide a reference point.

Might go a little muu muu (which is only a bad thing if you were looking for something different.)

I think I agree with April - this could read sort of shapeless without any shoulder definition (because it's sleeveless) - but you should try because I'm curious!
