Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Ours is coming to a close and winter has really set in over the past few days... love it!

Anyway, there is a story attached to this, which I will share later if that's ok, because I don't want it to influence anyone's opinion.

And apologies for the rubbish pics. DH borrowed my camera to do some videoing and I think he has fiddled with my settings:( Photos kept coming out fuzzy.

This is a sleeveless jacket / topper. The design is essentially a half circle with armholes. The edges are raw. The colour is navy!!!

I think there are a few options for styling it and here are two ways. One worn open like a vest and the other crossed over and pinned to create a top. The neckline/collar can be scrunched, I did it quite neat here but prefer it scrunchier

It's late Sunday afternoon and I just popped on some leggings (I would actually like to wear it over my navy skinny pants which are yet to see daylight) and booties to give an idea of how I would wear this. And clearly I would wear something long sleeved underneath it.

The unstructured structure of this appeals to me, the navy is a great colour and I think this reflects the direction I am going in style wise. My DH laughed at me (kindly) and said he doesn't 'understand' it, but followed that with he really doesn't understand "fashion" or "style" so I shouldn't take his opinion too seriously:)

May I ask what you think of this. In the words of the great Aussie movie "The Castle"... am I dreaming! Can I wear this?
