Wavy pixie cut ~ the results

On Friday I posted a question about wavy pixie cuts and had so many thoughtful replies

After visiting the hairdressers I went darker and shorter, the first picture is after I left the salon (very tired that morning), today I left my hair to do it's own thing (less tired but a very goofy face, sorry). I think I may need to invest in some product to hold the wave but I'm quite pleased with the results.

I would just like to thank you all for your kind responses on my original thread, I have not been as active lately on the forum but think of you all often.

I used to have hair short too last year, a similar cut. My hair is the same color as yours, also naturally wavy and fine. You really don't need to use ironing or even blow-dryers.

I found anti-frizz serums to work well with this cut, I used one from the pharmacy called L'oréal Elvive. Normally these types of serum are horrible for fine long hair but on short hair it gives definition and shine.

Another product that worked really well for this length is L'Oreal Professional Texture Expert - Tendre Forme Paste for Fine Hair (sorry I am not trying to push L'Oréal here! It just happened like this). This product gave a good hold to the hair if I wanted more lift or shape.

But honestly, you hair at this length looks so good on its own, you seldom need any product!

I have never been so floored by such lovely comments. WOW I'm blushing. Thank you so much for your kind words. I actually had a very severe squint as a child which was corrected with surgery so to hear I have pretty eyes has made my year! I wore my hair au natural again today, just a little manipulation with my fingers whilst drying ensured my hair kept it's shape and the darker colour is working much better with my wardrobe. Krishnidoux, thank you for the product recommendation, I will be sure to check it out.
