Water shoes

Not sure how to post a picture on here or I'd put one up.
Anyone wear those mesh water shoes just for every day?
I think they look really sharp, more sleek and trimmed back than most shoes are.

There’s a waiting period and a certain number of posts you have to make before the pic function becomes available… I see people wearing water shoes around. They’re usually sorta outdoors gardening folk here. It’s a definite style.

Eta: I’m a baker, kinfolk to the garden people, but you know, wear regulation shoes personally.

Not sure how long I've been here but I know I've made quite few posts. It's the weekend so probably no one is around until Monday. Water shoes are kind of fragile but they look really good I save them for the mall or something special like that. I use an insole since they are so simple that they don't have an arch support in them typically. Instead, they are usually totally flat. An arch support lends some thickness to the sole as well if you walk across a planter box with 1 inch decorative rock or some such thing you won't feel it. You can get some pretty cool colors also , I usually go for just black but if I come up with a certain outfit It's possible to get a color that I like with it.

What do you wear with your shoes? Crop flares? That seems like it would be cute.

It wouldn't be cute on me I'm a guy. I'd need something I can pull off better. Really it depends on what I'm doing. At a mall probably just some pants usually elastic waist warm up pants. Black leggings if I'm running or out doing a morning walk around the harbor to stretch, do squats etc. I don't usually ride my bike in them I keep thinking I'll snag one with a peddle and pull it off my foot. I had that happen with some other slip on shoes once where the thing ended up in the road 10 feet behind me. A bike peddle might tear a hole in a water shoe as well in such a situation. They're cheap but still.

I will have to pay more attention when I’m out and about.

Also, have to mention that, ahem, if a guy wears capris - he’s an instant hire where I work. Lol. I admit it’s a little odd

Well, we're all odd in some respect. As the Romans would say "let me have my face". Or let me be me and I'll be a proper Roman in public. That said I just don't like the

look. I know it's been used by men over the centuries usually with tall boots or stockings. It's just not my thing though. Even on women it seems unfinished somehow. I guess with calf high boots it would be different but it's usually worn as

leggings and those little slipper type shoes of some sort. Sometimes it's

capris pants but the same thing, sneakers, sandals etc. If I wear pants or leggings I like them to go all the way to my ankles. Maybe it's because I have OCD and can't deal with a garment that just suddenly cuts off leaving nothing but bare skin, not sure.
