I haven't "watched" anyone in awhile, since a few years ago when I first came on the website. I realize now that I don't know what that means, and it seems kind of weird, anyway. Why do we watch each other, and what does it mean?

(For reference, I am talking about when someone writes a post or maybe makes a comment, there is an button that says "watch" you can hit under that person's name.)
