My furniture-buying spree begins on Sunday. I would still really appreciate suggestions of secondhand shops in Florida. I will need to make decisions very quickly. I might pop on here to request quick help deciding if I want to get a thing, so am writing out the plan now.

The schedule is
Sun fly into Lauderdale.
Sun afternoon-Mon morning shop Miami & Lauderdale
3 pm Mon spa appointment in Vero Beach
Tues am relax at hotel
Maybe go to Palm Beach?
Tues evening turn in SUV in Tampa, pick up moving truck in Palmetto, shop Tampa
Wed am pick up stuff at storage locker in Clearwater
Wed afternoon, shop Naples/Ft Myers.
Thurs shop Atlanta
Friday afternoon home.

Porch I have zero vision! Want a hanging chair, a chaise that lies all the way flat. Have a little grill & some big flower pots.

Have secretary desk my grandpa made from radio cabinet, sewing machine cabinet and little set of drawers, brass floor lamp, armchair upholstered in this exact Kente, carved chess board from which to make small side table, 1x2 meter fabric mostly dark green, black, some brown, to make roman shade, several hundred books, black Ikea Ranarp desk lamp

Mudroom Bright colors & very functional. Only thing I’m looking for is shoe storage bench 54” wide, but I might make one.

Small bedroom for my son. He’s not going to visit for a while so it can wait, but eventually we’ll want a single or twin bed, preferably with storage, a writing desk with comfy desk chair, and maybe a slim wardrobe.
