I am so happy that FedEx finally delivered the watch today. My BF has been hunting down a good dress watch for a decade. No joke. Once in a while he will spy one on auction but invariably it's right before we are going to make a move or some other financially tumultuous time. He's looked at Breguet, A Lange & Sons, Patek Phillipe, etc, etc, etc.
We stopped along our odyssey of a drive home from FL to CA last year in Vegas just to go to a Jaeger le Coultre watch store where he could try on in person. (speaking of the thread about trying on things you might never buy).
I keep telling him to just DO IT already. He's lost a decade dilly dallying and time is ticking Ha Ha Ha. It's almost a month's salary, which is reasonable in the big picture when you are talking about THE watch. Anyway, a Reverso is here waiting for him to get off work and put on his wrist. I CAN'T WAIT for him to come open the box and try it on!!!! So excited! (and not as concerned about my racking up maybe $500 on the credit card bill in comparison HA!)
