Warp + Weft is a sustainable, vertically-integrated denim company, headquartered in NYC. They carry sizes 00-24, as well as men's and kids' lines.

I've been on the hunt for a new pair of cropped jeans. I wanted something with a high rise, medium-to-light wash, and some low-key distressing. I ordered their "vintage high rise straight" style, for what I thought was a really reasonable price (around $50 with discounts).

The denim is a 98/2 blend. It's more substantial than my Universal Standard jeans and, somehow, stretchier, as well. The rise is high enough to work with my cropped tee, only showing a sliver of belly when I stretch. The waist doesn't gap at all, but also no muffin-top. Amazing.

I expect them to loosen up a bit with wear, which will be perfect. They're not constrictive at first pull-on, but they're definitely form-fitting. I took my usual size.

They're definite keepers. And now I’m taking them off because it’s 103°.
