Is anyone else following the Scholar Style Guide's Wardrobe Workhorse Week? A number of other fashion blogs are participating, including Academichic and Orchids in Buttonholes, and I've been surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. What intrigues me is not the specific items these bloggers are identifying as "wardrobe workhorses," but more how they each define what a "wardrobe workhorse" is for them and ruminate on it. Sara at Orchids in Buttonholes had a really interesting post yesterday lamenting the fact that one of her workhorses--the humble dress--now garners comments from others about how "dressed up" or "fancy" she is.
The whole topic got me wondering what you YLF Forum members would identify as your own "wardrobe workhorses?" How do you define what a "wardrobe workhorse" is?
