Disclaimers: As with the pants, many of these need ironing, especially the shorter flared skirts that have literally been sitting in little bundles in my drawer. And again, very picture-heavy post. Also, no, I don't usually wear cropped tops or tuck tops in --- you can see why!

Again, I know it is hard to make sense of some of these with the bloated belly and wrinkles, but as I am out of time, any help is very welcome indeed.

Thanks for looking, ladies!

#1-3 Elastic-waisted A-line, cotton plaid in blue and a little pastel pink.

#4-6 Tulip-shaped brown plaid midi, with a tier at the bottom. You've seen this before.

#7-15 Same skirt, same size in three colours: cream, turquoise and black. They are gauzy cotton and self-lined in muslin, but they wrinkle like mad. Cotton bias-tape closes the box pleats to lie flat from waist to hip, and then they flare from there. Too short or girlish, to your eye? I find the cream colour hardest to wear, but the other two have been workhorses all last summer for working from home. (Note also the way the front bulges apple-wise and the small of the back wrinkles --- this is the typical issue I have with pants and skirts, because of my swayback. Of course gathers and pleats right at the waistband will avoid this, as will stretch knits --- but neither is much of an option for my body type or my location.)

#16-18 Asymmetrical high-low hem midi in charcoal pinstripe with bound raw edges, the sole dressy skirt in the lot. A bit edgy but I have a soft spot for this one. It's also the oldest of the lot.

#19-21 Yes, I plonked a floral, SSB, fishtail cotton maxi in here. Feel free to have a howl!

#22-24 Starry knights A-line wraparound midi skirt. I should have tied this one better (the hem *should* be even). I thought the black panels at the side were slimming --- or am I delusional?

#25-27 Hola, bohemians! A bona-fide, beaded-drawstring gypsy skirt (from one of India's 'banjara' tribes)! They're meant to hit just above the ankle, which is supposed to bear a gigantic silver cuff.

I've left two skirts out, that you've seen before --- a lined heavier weight black and white houndstooth pencil skirt; and a grey raw-silk maxi pencil skirt. Those I'm keeping for the time being anyway, for dressy occasions.
