It is so interesting reading various wardrobe mgmt strategies. I think we could make it into an advanced degree course with all the options and combinations thereof. What do you think about, have you ever participated in, which sounds good or appeals most to you???
Project 333 - limiting pieces to choose from for a certain length of time, and putting the rest into holding.
Minimal Closet - paring down to a prescribed number of items, 10, 21, whatever limit you set for yourself.
Capsule Wardrobe - designing a mix and match strategy based on shapes, color scheme, favorite neutral, season, activity, and/or fashion persona.
Outfit Lineup - formulating outfits that you love and never straying, or simply composing outfits in advance of need.
One in-One out - managing the size of the wardrobe by getting rid of something whenever a new item is added.
Trend Update - adding a few new, trendy items to existing classics each season or year, wearing them until they go out of trend.
Uniform Dressing - choosing to wear the same all the time, whether identical items or based on a set formula such as shape or core pieces.
Closet Purge and Restuff (or restock) - sadly the "strategy" to which I often succumb.
I think Outfit Lineup and Uniform Dressing are the ones which would work for me better than some others. How about you all?
