I'm still ashamed of myself for the way I wound up standing in my bathroom, half dressed, unable to commenced with the business of bathing because I simply could not figure out how on earth I was going to get the shoes on my feet into the space alloted for my shoes.

I've been on a major sneaker kick all year, and they've been some heavy hitters. The white Vince sneakers that I destroyed out here in the country fried middle of nowhere were a very painful lesson. If I buy any designer/contemporary sneakers, they must be bought on deep discount.

I've destroyed so many sneakers this year that I probably don't really need to even do a post about sneakers because Darwinism and survival of the fittest and all that natural selection stuff LOL. But I love my sneakers almost as much as I love my boots, so any excuse to look at them and talk about them, right? And fun sneakers have become my new stilettos, since stilettos are so impractical for my life these days.

The pink & silver Calvin Klein sneakers are my latest acquisition. I love the metallic leather. They are the replacements for the pink glittery ones with pompoms that the glitter started flaking off of.
The blue and black aerosoles were my "trophy" acquisition for the opening day of shoe season this year (aka the opening day of deer season when I lose my husband to the relentless call of nature for a few months). They are also replacements for the navy velvet ones that literally fell apart this summer.
The grey velvet ones are generally worn around the yard when I'm just piddling and not doing anything overly gross, and they may get demoted to work shoes next summer. They weren't expensive, and if my job is going to destroy some shoes anyway, I'd rather it be these than the black Sperry ones.
The berry pink & black high tops are a recent addition, mostly bought because they seemed like a nice way to do athleisure in cooler months and yet still be able to wear warm socks too.
The silver snake embossed ones were bought as the future replacements for the grey velvet ones, because those are the most likely to be the next paur to get accidently ruined or just worn out, and these are shiny (DH says I'm just like a fish, attracted to sparkly things that shimmy through the water LOL)
The cognac suede ones are the replacements for my Leopard print hair-calf sneakers that rubbed a blister on my heel.
We looked at the black Sperry and the black & white splendid ones in a different post, and these have been relegated to a storage area until next summer, when the splendid sneakers will be work shoes and the Sperry ones will be casual shoes.
The black hybrids are comfortable, and unexpected. A hair-calf Chelsea boot sneaker? Why not?
It seems like I have a lot of sneakers, but I think some of that is a perception issue since an RV has no storage space for sneaker and boot collections LOL. I don't feel any need to get rid of any of these at the moment since all but the splendid ones are in good or new/unworn shape. There's also the often mentioned fact that my life just chews up clothes and shoes, so none of them will last long enough to become clutter. I've lost many pairs this year, and I'm sure that my life will continue to rob me of shoes in the future.
As always thanks for looking, and comments are appreciated!
