Wardrobe Audit: Part Five. Tops

I am getting close to the end of my Wardrobe Audit. I may do accessories and special occasion wear at some time. I will do a post on items that I am planning to put on my shopping this. Some are more urgent than others.
I dress in layers and that is obvious from the tops I wear.

Pullovers were posted in the toppers post. I don't wear the pullovers as much as I wear the cardigans. Note to self.

I am unsure about keeping the Trouve tank. I love the colour but the length is throwing me off.
I don't have any HEWI in this section of my wardrobe.

I haven't had as much time as I would like to comment, but you are doing a great assessment and I am avidly following every step.

Angie great idea. I plan to take a pic with it on and get feedback. I agree that the colour is so me. That is why I bought it during the NAS even though I knew the length was not great for me. I also felt like a dressy tank would be a good idea given my wardrobe. I have a nice top with spaghetti straps that is too revealing that I wore to concerts and dinners. It has been moved to the holding zone. Those days are over.
Thank you Sterling. The audit has certainly been worth doing. I have a good idea where my wardrobe holes are. I will work on that next. That will be more fun.

The Trouve tank is beautiful. You have done an amazing amount of work on your audits.

Thank you Bonnie. I like the Trouve tank but I am not sure it is for me. I will post a picture of it. I think it is better suited for a different body type.

Congratulations for hanging in and continuing this process. All the hard work is about to pay off as you consciously shop with direction gained from this tedious project.

The Trouve top is lovely -- looking forward to seeing it on. I think what might be throwing you off is that it is a good length to wear untucked but you tend to semi-tuck into jeans, right? It might work semi-tucked too, though. This type of top is one that I like a lot with a tube skirt and it will also work with skinnies.

Thank you TraceyLiz. Tedious is one word I might use to describe the process. But it was worth it. Now I can really figure out my wardrobe holes in a more organized way.
Suz the Trouve top is lovely but I am a pear and it exaggerates that fact. Mini shoulders and you know what hips. And after Mr. SF took the pictures I realized that it was more sheer than I thought. So now I need to wear a cami underneath it. Great. This is becoming a lot of work. I will post a pic soon.
