I have some serious wants for the winter season. One of them is these boots from LLBean. I wish I could post a picture, but here is the link!

I also want the tree in my backyard cut down (It's huge and diseased, extremely close to houses), a dishwasher (which requires carpentry, pluming, and electrical since there isn't one in my kitchen), and to pay off at least 1 credit card.

Sounds like I'm going to be working my butt off for that mullah!

I am going to attempt SYC this fall/winter until maybe next spring/summer (after I find a couple more jackets and buy some underwear!) so I'm not in the market for anything clothing-wise.

Around the house, I want to fix the water damage to our dining room. I'd also like to gut and remodel the master bathroom, but that's going to have to wait until our son is done with college!

To pay off my credit cards and for nothing else to go wrong with my car!! The alternator pulley sheared off last night on the motorway at midnight, another £100+ quid :-((((

Alaskagirl I did see those, but I'm not sure about all the laces. I think they would be really cute with a longer dress/skirt and leggings though!

nancylee- I like the SYC too, but will probably end up buying something... maybe my house fixings are going to take a year or so...

Louise- Good luck! I hope everything works out for you! I just had to replace my car, so I definitely understand!

Are we talking pie in the sky?
I was helping someone look for an evening gown and found this Zac Posen Sleeveless Bustier Gown online:

Would love to be that jaw-droppingly glamorous for just one night! At $2800, that's never going to happen though.

On a smaller scale, while searching Zappos for boots to fit my calves, I came across these winter boots that I thought looked really cute:

But I have no reason to have snow boots--it never snows around here!

So, my practical wants list/wardrobe holes:
new bras and undies
some sort of tank/camisole/silk shell for layering
short sleeve mock neck ribbed shirts in black and cream (to replace the ones I wore out years ago)
red or orange/spice hip length cardigan for layering
some sort of jacket or blazer for layering
white button down shirt (the one I had is too small in the chest now)
belts
skinny jeans
tights or leggings

(let me know if you have any specific suggestions for the above!)
