want to post pictures -help!

I've just set up a quick photobucket acct so I can get some pictures up to hear if I should keep or return. I see that there are several link options underneath each picture....what do I use? All of the ones on here are nice and short (the links) but when I try to copy and paste a link from photobucket it is at least a whole line long....help!

Hi Agrace! These are the directions that I use:

To post a picture in a thread, you'll need to be logged into your photobucket album on another screen or tab. Go to your album and left click once on the "direct link" bar underneath the picture that you want. A little yellow bar that says "copied" will appear to let you know that you are successful. Now go back to your post and right click in the spot you want to put the link. Choose "paste" from the little drop down menu that appears and your link should appear. (Don't worry if it looks like a long address. It gets abbreviated in your post)

I used to just copy the url of the actual picture but seeing your post prompted me to figure out a better way. When you have a picture in your album in photobucket open, you will see a box that says "share this image." I copy the one that says "Direct Link" and paste it into the body of my post. Good luck!
