You may recall that a few months ago, I went for a job interview for an interesting possibility at a company I would love to work for. The discussions cooled off though and I put it out my mind. They were in the middle of some changes though and I think put a freeze on any appointments.

A couple of weeks ago, I bumped into one of the directors of the company and we chatted and she asked me to come in and see them again. I went in and we had an amazing chat and I felt sure that the discussions were back on track. They promised to come back to me last week. Around the middle of last week I had an email from them, saying that they had not forgotten about me and were just trying to get all the relevant parties together to discuss the way forwards.

In the meantime, I had a call from another company asking me to come in, and they offered me a job on the spot (this was last week Friday). This was rather unexpected. Whilst intrigued and flattered, I have some reservations about working for this company and I asked for a few days grace to think about it.

I emailed Company A on Monday asking if they had any news yet and I got a quick response saying they were waiting on their CEO. As yet, still no news though! I don't want to lose the possibility of the job with Company B though if A is not going to make me an offer...

I am feeling a little stressed by this all, I will admit! Aaargh!
