What is it about NEW stores that attracts hordes of people?! Last summer a new outlet mall opened near us and it was almost a month until people could count on finding parking in the ginormous lot. They actually ran several shuttle buses to offsite parking lots for the first month, to alleviate parking congestion.
Then Trader Joes opened last fall, and you couldn't even really walk through the aisles the first couple weeks--it was THAT crowded! Mind you, we already have a plethora of clothing stores and grocery stores ine city; it's not like we're starved for shopping opportunities.
Give it a month or so, and you'll be able to enjoy shopping at the new Rack.
