Phone the store, check the stock levels and then make your choice. They look great but are obviously too big for the model (check the back view), would you size up for the same effect?

I vote for waiting too (but checking in with the store for good measure). They know you and love you there, so I'm sure that they would consider giving you a call if there was any possibility that they could sell out. They could also tell you whether they could special order it for you if needed.

I love this site too! It has the most beautiful, minimalist clothes! Pricey though! Lucky lady you get some extra cash to have some fun with! S you live near enough to shop at the store? That's nice!

I know if it were me and I was getting paid in 5 days and knew I was going to buy them, I'd buy now because I'd be afraid they would be out of my size. But only if I knew I had the money, like you do.

OT - this brought back a funny memory. Back in the dark ages of paper paychecks, there was a time when the checks would get shipped from headquarters to our office a few days before payday. I was in charge of keeping them under lock & key. We had on going overtime & other incentives, so employees' pay could vary quite a bit. There were quite a few employees who would turn up at my office to view their paycheck. We had several hundred employees & I lived in terror of not remembering someone's name when they arrived unannounced. I constantly practiced so neither I nor the employee would be embarrassed. Direct deposit is a wonderful thing.

I would only jump the gun if it was a cheaper price now or if there was risk of it selling out. Sounds like you are all booked up with shifts anyway, and wouldn't even have time to wear it should you race down there now! Why not wait and feel satisfied that you completed your month of SYC?

Love these. A few months ago Zara had some "cross-over" pants that I tried on and fell in love with - but these are much cooler in denim.

I would only go get them now if you run the risk of missing out. I found a handbag yesterday that I would really like but I need to wait until next week so my budget stays on track... it's the only one and I am trusting it will be there next Wednesday. And if it's not, it wasn't meant to be Probably not helping hey?!?

Wow, those are really cool!!!

Now, I need to know...it sounds from the description ("crossover detail") as if they are a bit like those pants I tried on last night. But HOW do they crossover and how does it stay done up? Do they have a crazy ribbon like the ones I tried? Or some sort of snap or button? (To me, that would be better than a ribbon that has to be looped through very tiny separate belt loops all the way round and then tied in a knot.)

As to whether to buy now or later....I vote wait.

I have never seen "crossover" pants in real life, and I don't know why they're called that. Are they unisex? As Clinton would say on What Not to Wear, "it looks like you have man parts". Why would a woman consider that to be attractive? It's a puzzle to me...

LOL! I love them because they remind me of me droogies! Like Angie's jodhpur jeans, these aren't the thing for everyone. However, if I had to pick someone who could wear these and look fab in them, really rock them, it would be you, Anna. And Dana, 'cause I know she has a pair too. And I've seen the fabulousness that is her in those pants.

Did they have them in your size? And did they put them aside for you?
