Wahhh - Winter is over!!!

I am officially unhappy, it is supposed to be Winter here and today it is 28c/83f. I want my Winter back now please, it lasted nowhere near long enough, I still have many times I want to wear my boots, I didnt get to wear my patterned tights enough, and I love my layers too much!! Please come back to me now, I promise I will be good

Rant over, continuing normal programming.

Funny to read this today as I'm feeling sad that summer is almost over in the Seattle area as the grey clouds start to move in yet again You'll just have to come visit us so you can wear your winter goodies for longer!

It's 24 degrees in Sydney today which is unheard of in August. It's glorious. It is meant to get colder here again tomorrow so maybe a quick trip to Sydney is what you need!

You could visit NZ - actually perhaps that should be a new tourism advertising strapline.

"Didn't get to wear that winter wardrobe enough to justify the purchase cost? Pure Winter, Pure New Zealand"

For those that haven't seen any NZ tourism advertising "Pure New Zealand" is the strapline that is frequently used.

I'm with you. This is absolutely ridiculous! I was wearing my skinnies with my new ballet flats and felt waaaaaaay too hot for comfort. It makes me worry what it will be like when the real summer arrives. Thank goodness I'm going to Canberra next weekend so I can get a taste of *real* winter!

I'm happy, happy, happy! I LOVE the heat and hate winter.
I got called in to work semi-urgently this morning and it was so nice just to slip on a dress, slide on some shoes and GO.
The disappointing bit was then spending the rest of the day in air-conditioning
Can't wait for it to get hot enought to justify doing some new season clothes shopping! Hehe.

Yes It is still freezing in New Zealand and I so want to see spring! I was looking at swimsuits in the shop and put them back thinking...thats a long way off

Brrrr! We're getting maximums of 18, minimums of 3 over on the west coast. But it feels colder to me. I reckon we'll be getting another month of wintry weather before I can bust out my ballet flats again.

Yep, it hit 30 here today and is expected to again tomorrow with a min of 16 - so I must admit, I'm in my element! I love this weather - crisp mornings & warm days!!

But having said that, I feel like now that its over, I have finally got my head around Winter dressing. And I know that in a couple of months when its 35+ I won't be so happy LOL

I'm planning on cleaning and polishing my boots and putting them away this weekend... But breaking out my dresses big time!

Fi I think that would be a fab slogan for NZ!! One of Em's little class mates is in NZ skiing at the moment - when he left it was winter, and when he gets back it will definitely be summer!

Well I think Summer has gone away again, it's raining and 22c today but it was warm last night. I was tossing and turning last night stressing about baring my legs again!

Totally agree though Sharon, it's an excuse to get some new warmer weather goodies!

Yes feel free to pop over to NZ for some more winter, it'll be around for awhile yet. I have noticed the last few days it hasn't been extremity numbingly cold though so I think we're over the worst. I am such a cold fish though that I think I'll still be able to wear my knee high boots and layers until November.
