Janet recently shared the video of the latest Moschino fashion show, and most of us agree that he was making some sort of statement or commentary. It inspired me to root around in my old photos and post them here.
I have never been much of a Moschino fan, it's generally not my aesthetic. However, I appreciate Jeremy Scott's brain and the creativity that comes from it. When I went to Dallas Contemporary to see "Viva Avant Garde", the Jeremy Scott retrospective, I left with a deeper appreciation of his mind, his creative process, and the way he makes a statement. It greatly elevated him in my mind, and I have nothing but respect for the weird that comes out of his creative process. Every single garment in that exhibit was a statement, and each collection was a commentary. I shan't tell you how I interpreted it all because the point of art is for each of us to find our own interpretation. I took tons of pics, so I'm sharing them with you.
Huge thanks to Janet for inspiring this post!
P.S. I can't help but admire anyone who sends bags of Cheetos down the runway for a haute couture show
