Virgin to Stylist

Hi, I am Tabitha. I am new here and need some advice. I am putting together a website / youtube channel. Because I am doing a youtube channel, that means i will be in front of the camera. I am meeting with a personal stylist for the first time in my life. Who can tell me what the protocol is? She works with a particular clothing store. So do I pay her? Does the store pay here? How much clothing am I required to buy from what she lays out for me?

Please help.

I think you need to ask the stylist all of these questions. I suggest you don't book someone who provides a service without receiving and accepting a quote or something in writing regarding the terms of the arrangement.:)

Yes, you will want to ask the stylist. I did have a fitting at Buckle the other day, and the stylist was free and I wasn't obligated to buy anything. I think that Nordstrom's is the same way, but I'm not positive.

The process can be really fun! I hope it works out for you.

I would also suggest Nordstrom. The service is free, you aren't under any obligation to buy anything, and you have to opportunity to build a relationship with someone who can really get to know your wants and needs. As a bonus, if you sign up for a Nordstrom Card(even the debit card that draws directly from your bank account) you earn points towards great rewards On top of all that, the customer service is amazing!
