I spent some time yesterday cleaning out some of our bookshelves, and ended up finding a treasure trove of old photos. Just thought these were a fun look back at my style, since we were recently talking about our style roots.

1. I think I was 14 here, already a fan of blue and V neck sweaters!
2. At my sister’s wedding, age 15
3. Tropical print at age 16
4. Prom at age 17. One of the first in my school to adopt what came to be known as a mullet. Also, red prom dresses were almost unheard of. It was the era of pastels and Gunne Sax dresses.
5. Always loved a hat. Age 19
6. At work. About 19 or 20
7-8. I liked a popped collar. Age 21 and maybe 23. Oof, those shoulder pads!
9. Poofy shorts in Mexico. Whyyyy?
10-11. The short hair years. Age 25-26. And paisley at a friend’s wedding. Never really loved my hair like this but I chopped it after a big breakup and it felt freeing at the time.
12-14. In my late 20s. Oversized denim jacket at a baseball game. Cropped black top and broomstick skirt. And a long black blazer I wore to death.
