I have fallen in love HARD with this kimono idea that Angie is showing us - as she mentioned, it totally appeals to my retro side. So in my opinion, if I'm going to wear a kimono, it should be authentic vintage.
I found these three on Etsy that are all lovely - the blue one is from thte 1970's and is reversible (cream with blue flowers on the other side). It is not a true kimono shape per se but worn open, would take on the look. The pink one is more vintage (1960's) and has the most beautiful back on it - more sheer though. The third one is 100% silk 1940's and is shorter. I think it's stunning.
Can you see any of these on me? If so, which do you think would work best with my current wardrobe and style?
