Not a petite, but I ordered this dress in the larger of my two normal sizes and found it too big even in the shoulder/chest, which is normally where I have to size up.
Regarding what Liz A. has to say, from what I have seen in the past, Vince C. tends to run large in misses' sizing but I think is more TTS in petites'. When I have worn Vince C. in the past, I have found the bottoms to be very straight cut and not as good for curvy figures (bigger bum, smaller waist). I hope it turns out well for you! It's a very pretty dress.
