I tried that on at Nordies last week. It was much snugger than the tube skirt in the same size.

@Diana: All over. It was way too va-va-voom for me. I put in on, looked at the rear and I think I said "whoa" out loud. It was narrower at the knees too. I wasn't sure I could walk properly in it anyway. Might have been okay if I sized up to a medium though.

I tried it on as well and had the same reaction as kellygirl... Very snug, femme fatale and all the extra rouched fabric added more volume to my hips. I bought a Rachel by Rachel Roy (Macys) lined knit tube skirt with a sporty drawstring waist, more my style

It's a gorgeous skirt but my experience with this style so far has been like Kelly. Very va va voom on me Which is sad because I love this style. I think it could very well work for you though Una. I would love to see it on.

I just bought this skirt! I love it! Very comfy. It is indeed snugger than the non-ruched VC midi skirt. But the reason I love the ruched one is that I am very apple-y and inverted triangle-y and this skirt seems to help suck in the tummy a bit, while the ruching helps to simultaneously disguise the tummy and add a bit of needed volume at my hips.

Hmm, I definitely don't need more volume at the hips! I was hoping it would be more like my Vera Wang dress where the ruching actually tones down the bodycon nature, but I guess the ruching is higher up and drapier on the Vera.

I tried this skirt on and I LOVED it. It's even in my finds. I didn't buy because I have absolutely nowhere to wear it. It's sexy in a sort of formal way. I have not much in the hips and butt department but it was still vavavoom. I tried but I couldn't think of a single place--that I ever go to--that I could wear it. (The fact that DD was saying urgently, "No Mom, don't get that skirt" had nothing to do with it!)

That is a beautiful skirt, and I have noticed that runching along the hips on somehow makes me look a lot more endowed at the back (I think it is a pear shape problem). But then I have reasoned with myself that - YOLO! With a short - long top or a long top tucked in the front this could be awesome - just like Angie shows in her outfit capsule link above.

Adelfa and T, thanks for the info! If I try it sounds like I should size up. I am not vavoom, and I style these kinds of skirts like I did yesterday... But I would need to be able to wear it to work.

I was going to suggest a twist skirt instead, but then remembered you already have one? I sized up in my F21 version and it's much better. Less suctioned to the knees feeling.
