So I'll admit it, I love the freakish looking 5 finger-toe shoes (for gear only mind you!) But, now my feet are soooo enthralled with being free and feeling the ground few of my other shoes are working since my feet are getting wider (or just less like being squashed?) and my arches growing higher. Any other ladies out there who are going the barefoot/minimalist (as opposed to minimalist in term of cleaner less accessories looks) shoes route have any good looking solutions?

I have some Vivobarefoot Neo sneakers I wear as fashion tennies:

And some Vivobarefoot Kali Mary Janes

Both feel a little too casual for the smart casual look i try for, i have two pair of ballet flats I like alright (feel a bit narrow and the last a bit stiff--no ground feel you know). My black boots have a 1" heel and lately that just seems to throw off my stride and make my knees hurt.

I am thinking of getting a pair of these mocassin boots made to be a winter jeans etc shoe:

Anyone have the Soft Soles Mary Janes? I cant tell from their website if they would be cute enough (i am thinking the platinum leather with the sunrise flower cutout) to consider? There just seems to be a lot of leather on them like the toe box is really tall up the foot and across the instep looks heavy to my eye.

Merrell look like they have lots of spring options added to their barefoot line. Anyone have experience here?

I ordered some Jambu's but sent them back because the heel was noticeably taller than the forefoot.

Love to hear if anyone has any great finds in the "cute barefoot shoe" search?
