This 5 piece minimal Vetta capsule is calling to me. All the pieces have so much built in versatility. When I first looked at the pictures I had to count the pieces over and over because I just couldn't believe all these outfits are only from 5 items.

That boxy black convertible turtleneck might need to be mine. I'm also pining for the reversible tunic in black denim and the striped convertible shirt dress. If I'm being honest, I want the long cardigan too, but it's not as special as the other pieces. I see the necessity of the pants in the capsule, but my closet already has that covered.

Have any of you ever owned anything from Vetta?

Rachy, I think I came across them a while back on Instagram. They must be doing a big blogger push because they were all over my feeds yesterday. Some of the past capsules have been intriguing, but this one is just so close to perfect. I think if I lost everything in a fire I'd buy this complete capsule to start.

I think I'm going to get the black turtleneck and the tunic dress. I love the shirt dress, but don't think I'd actually wear it as much as I think, and the long cardigan isn't really one of a kind.

After reading the full description of the dress I pulled the trigger. From the pictures I thought the dress came in two colors, denim and black, and that the "reversible" part was that you can flip it front to back to change the neckline. After reading I found that the dress can be turned inside out, so you get both fabrics, the shoulders have snaps so you can adjust the length and neckline a bit, and it is also front to back reversible.

If you sign up for their emails you can get a 10% off code. There's also a code for if you buy the entire capsule that almost makes the pants free, so if you're considering 4 pieces already, keep an eye out for that code.

I'll report back on quality and functionality when they arrive!

Wow! This really neat and so inspiring! I just wonder: How would I feel wearing the same thing/not the same thing all the time? My concern is that I would feel like I was wearing the same thing despite having different looks all the time. Of course this doesn't stop anyone from buying a few pieces to remix with their existing clothes, but the concept of the 5 pieces loses some of its gusto.

Other random thoughts:

If I didn't care about clothes that much, this would be awesome. Men might like something like this...then again, men don't really need many silhouettes, so it probably wouldn't work.

I'm confused about the sweater. Will it have the buttons showing down the back, do you think?

I really like the tunic dress. I would never zip off the bottom though.

I do think it's handy to have a turtle neck that zips off so that you can wear the crew neck with a shirt peeking out. To me, these are totally different looks.

Smittie, yes, the turtleneck sweater has buttons down the back. When the collar is taken off it can be worn like a cardigan with the buttons in front too.

I didn't think about both dresses being tunics technically. I'm getting the black and denim sleeveless one. I considered the shirt dress one that can be shortened to a shirt, but I have a boxy shirt dress and I have a few button up shirts that serve the same purpose as this one, so I couldn't justify it.

I'm especially hesitant that the sleeveless tunic isn't going to be weird and gapey at the armholes, but I was too intrigued to not try it, especially after I read that the straps are adjustable and the dress can be turned inside out.

I like the novelty of the whole thing. I get too bored to really stick to 5 items, but I am really impressed by the thoughtful design. I think it'd take quite a while for a coworker to notice you'd been wearing the same thing over and over. If the quality and function are good I think it could be a great transitional capsule for someone who has recently changed shape. It'd be a pretty sweet post-partum gift for someone really really special.

I can't believe that I haven't seen this because I am on FB and Pinterest ALL. THE. TIME. I guess it goes to show how much they've been able to distill from our browsing habits and they feed us more of the same. I should change it up so I get some new material!

I keep looking at these pictures and thinking whaaaaaaaaat? How can that be five pieces. I'm going to check it out right now, although I think I may eventually agree with smittie's comments.
