So here are two pics of my 'home grown' vest. Actually I wore this black top as a shell when I was still working, with a black cami underneath. It is very old, from South Africa (Angie, from Edgars - Kelso label). I loved it and wore it often so I brought it with me when I moved overseas six years ago. However I have never worn it because I still think of it as work wear. So last week I tried it as a vest over an equally old burgundy trumpet sleeve button down and I like it. One thing it did remind though is that I love it because when it got warmer in the day I removed the burgundy shirt and wore it with a just a cami and immediately felt like myself. So either way the top has new life again as next summer I will definitely wear it again. What do you guys think?

Pic 1 - Showing the trumpet sleeve. The collar does actually lay flat just looking frumpled here because of the weird angle taking pic and showing the sleeve.
Pic 2 - close up of the vest to see the knit material which is actually cotton hence suitable in warm weather.
