Verdict on these mid calf boots?

I found these Camper boots by accident and I'd like to know if they fit me at all. They are totally out of my box, I never considered shorter mid calf boots before. They hit me almost at the widest part of the calf, btw.

The style is called Barbara, if anyone is interested. http://www.endless.com/Camper-.....%20barbara They are adorable and VERY comfy. The leather is super soft and the heel doesn't feel high at all (it's a well cushioned platform). I also really like the color. But if you guys think they are not for me, c'est la vie, they'll go back.

I don't know what are the rules on overall proportions, but I really like them on you. The color is lovely!
Is the 13.5 calf circumference on Endless correct? Sorry I have to ask it about every boot I see.

Marianne, I got size 40 (it runs small), and the calf measures almost 37 cm, which is approximately 14.5 inches. Weird. Last time I measured my calves were less than 14 inches.

Maybe the 13.5 measurement is for a smaller size?

Laura, the skirt accidentally got laundered in warm water and it doesn't fit the same, especially in the waist (which you can't see). Or maybe my shape changed, I don't know.

Thanks Lena! The measurement could be from a smaller size or could be just inaccurate, which seems to be common (sigh). Enjoy your new boots!

And Zappos gives them a 15 inch shaft and 15 inches circumference. I know the length discrepancy could be attributed to where they begin to measure, but circumference?

This winter I learned how practical and comfy boots can be. It was a revelation! My jeans were dry, my feet were warm. I could wear skirts more often! I learned so much from YLF

I love these boots...they are the perfect combination of smart and casual. Sometimes boots can be "too dressy" or "too casual"....these fall right inbetween. Great color too, this is a very versatile color!

I really like the color. It's this perfect shade of taupe that looks very versatile and unexpected.
Nicole, you're spot on about dressy and casual - that's one of the reasons I spotted them.
