VC Eliana Cage Sandals

I just ordered these in light grey to try with my vow renewal dress. I
think they will be cooler than the other booties because of the openings
(suddenly a bit afraid of Puerto Rico heat). Are these the ones that Suz and others have? I hope so, because I remember Suz saying they were very comfortable.

Yes! Those are the ones I got, Viva. They are very comfortable -- or will be. The one issue for me is the peep toe. There is a bit of pressure there. I am going to do a little preliminary stretching in that spot and wear body glide and put on some moleskin there before I wear the first time. The leather is gorgeously soft. I think it will just be a question of wearing round the house to break them in.

I do think you could wear with black pants to work, for sure. The colour is a soft greyish taupe IRL, with a snakeskin strap at the back.

On my legs they look better with pants than skirts (I think) but I haven't experimented a whole lot yet due to our weather.

Beautiful sandals - How I wish I could wear something similar, unfortunately that heel is most likely too high for my feet.

They should work well for a regular size foot. Mine is on the wide side. It said that they run small and to order a half size up. I usually wear a 7.5 so I ordered an 8 in the pewter. That extra half size worked well for the width and they were actually very comfortable but there was too much extra shoe beyond the toe. That's something that just always bothers me.

I've been eyeing these since Suz posted them, I think they are gorgeous. I'm curious whether they will work for a narrow-ish foot - will you comment on that when you receive them please? Most shoes this style sort of float away from my instep. I think they are totally wearable for work.
