Valentines Week Challenge

Anyone else up for a challenge? This week I will be wearing variations of red (red, burgundy, pink, plum, and maybe coral) and white, cream, and silver. No black or gray. This will be quite a challenge for me as I generally wear little color. I plan to look more valentine like as the week goes on as I trade the burgundy jeans for red or white ones. Anyone else care to join me?

Great idea. I'm not sure I have enough red for a full week but will try for a few days.

Tempting! I think I have a few reddish tops so may play a couple of days. The only color I wear is usually on my lips!

I like the idea of this challenge, but I only have a little red, and if grey is banned, then I'm sunk. I'll give it a try, though.

Love your happy outfit. I'll join you as much as I can. At least no black and some color. It is about time to bring out the cold spring capsule which contains blush and lighter neutrals anyway. Also a good time for heart and flower motifs.

Great idea, great outfit! The deep jewel reds are quite beautiful on you. I'm not sure how to do this for a week of bakery work and laundry room painting, but I want to!

I wish I could join you. I am in Florida and I brought brown and olive green. I have one orange top. Who am I kidding? I only wear brown and olive green.

Hah, comming from Sara L.-s post from today and so I see red is on the plate today!

This would be quite a challenge for me, too- as I generally wear little color in winter& for work (in an office) but after thinking a bit on the theme the real know-how would be how to make valentine reds different to the Xmass reds...???
Food for thought:-).

ETA. Forgot to say, love the red denim jacket, I'm in the search for a colored one for spring (maybe blush?) myself, too:-)

Then, my question is: -Is blush a valentine color?

That's a very pretty outfit ! I love the color of your jacket and scarf - on my screen they look more coral than red. You made me remember that I have a Spring coral jacket that I could wear in these days! (it's not very cold at the moment).

Donna I am in! I don't have enough red clothes to wear a complete red outfit everyday and given I work in an accounting firm, it may be very conspicuous amongst all the black and grey - but I will wear red in my outfit everyday too. This is a fun challenge. Do we go out with a red bang (so to speak) on Valentine's Day?

A fun idea but I don't have much red. I do have pinks and plums though so maybe can participate with those. And I can't live without my black and gray!

Bonnie, Kellygirl, Sara L, JAileen, Emily K, Joy, RobinF, Bijou, Sisi, lyn67: I am interpreting *red* VERY liberally as I have almost no true red clothing. See coral blouse below. Of COURSE blush counts!!! And I have decided that black polka dots are okay because, well, I have a lot of them and I think they are festive.

This is a Challenge because it sounds like a number of us don't have as much red in our wardrobe as Angie. (I, for one, will never suggest a 50 Shades of Gray Challenge because it would not present much of a challenge to me, lol.)

Pray that my one pair of red jeans won't get dirty their first time out since I will need to wear them at least twice for this challenge!

Day 3: Getting more Valentine-like. After V-Day I am thinking of wearing this EB shirt with my VC striped tube skirt or more likely my polka dot skirt if I can still get it zipped.
