Vacation Packing and December WIW

Hi all and an early Merry Christmas!

The first pics are some December WIW, three of them featuring my new two piece.

We are off to two beaches for Christmas. It will be fairly casual and warm but could be wet (NZ summers....)

1) To family Christmas party on a hot afternoon, Shopping and errands in the weekend
2) Work.
3) Work BBQ where I was doing the BBQ - lots of running around!!
4) Out for drinks with friends - after work BBQ - feeling a bit frazzled.
5) Last day of work in the office before vacation.
6) Shoes, bags and glasses for vacation
7) Hats and jewelry packing
8) Clothes
9) Gear - swimsuits, walking and running gear

The packing list is (outside gear)

Three pairs sandals
two casual dresses
one pair shorts
three pairs of pants - all loose
one light jacket
one long sleeve shirt
three black tops
one white striped tee
one floral blouse

Eagle eyes will see some new Sabatini wide leg pants. Along with a black woven tank and jewelry this is my dressiest look. I also have some wide leg wrap pants that can be a bit dressy.

Not everything goes with everything - the dresses stand alone, and the turquoise shirt only goes with black shorts and black casual pants. Lots of black but that makes it quite simple - and I like black in summer.

For gear I have a cap, running shoes, Merrell sandals, running tights, tops, hoodie, rash shirt, bikini, swimsuit, and beach cover up.

Great set! So polished yet effortless. Honestly you look pulled together in all that I couldn’t tell you were a bit frazzled in #4.

I see that flower print skirt under a chunky sweater and boots or booties transitioning well for the winter.

Love your summer looks. You do midi skirts so well. I am going midi skirt + sleeveless top for Xmas too. (I think.) We are having the customary Aussie fare - prawns on the BBQ.

Sal, I just love you in skirts and dresses. You carry them off with panache and poise. That said, you look as fab in #2. White accents are always a good thing

Great! We are around home for Christmas but going to SIL's for the family lunch.
My fave of this set is 5, love how you picked up the white polka dots in the sandals. Your Tuesday label outfit is of course awesome too, and so versatile.
I love Sabatini- think I counted about 8 pieces I have by now. Mostly from their factory sales! Happy Christmas and holiday. It is great having another Kiwi on the forum, and the Aussies x

Oh, you look sensational in the 2 piece. What a great purchase that was. I knew it would serve you well. So much variety with the mix and match. I love all these outfits! The dress in #5 is another fave, as is the other patterned skirt. The pattern has a fun retro feel to it.

The new wide legs are going to be fantastic dressy additions for holiday wear.

These are lovely outfits, each quite stylish in its own way :). Of course I love the polka dots and florals.....

Thanks all. I am just back and while I had cell coverage I did not have wifi nor computer access.

We had a great time, wet at the start and then hot and sunny at the end. I did not wear it all, I didn't wear the new wrap pants nor my chunky sandals. I wore the new terracotta linen culottes for the only two dressy occasions, both times with my flat sandals and a black tee and necklace. So it was not very dressy!!

I also could have done without the jade long sleeve top - I did wear it for about one hour in the morning one day but it was not necessary.

Thanks for the lovely comments above, I did read them all and appreciate them I had a stressful end to 2018 although overall it was a good year. I do still feel a but more frazzled than I should but I hope to resolve this.

Happy New Year to you too. I hope the frazzling will improve. We have had the oddest emotional time interspersed with some fun parties. The odd emotions are for both of us with clearing old memories having lived in the house 27 years. I have had to clear a lot of toys, keepsakes etc- still kept a "grandchildren box" living in hopes for that future one day!
