We are planning to go on a short trip in October, for about a week. We just don’t know where are we going We want to go to US or maybe Caribbean islands. We usually go on vacation to Europe but I can’t make a long flight yet. So, our flight should be no longer than 4 hours.
We want a combination of a beach vacation (swimming in mornings or evenings) and some cultural component, like visiting museums, galleries, lots of walking and eating out. So, urban with an access to a beach.
So far we think Miami. We visited New Orleans before, so it’s not on our list. Well, aside from Miami, there is nothing yet on our list. Some places have great beaches but nothing else for us to do. Or there are some cities and places we would be love to see like San Francisco but swimming is problematic.
Any advice? Any places you visited and loved?
