I'm packing for three days on the road, including an one day stay in Austria. Then two weeks in Croatia. Weather report predicts 20°C high temperatures in Germany and Austria and between 24°C and 28°C in Croatia (as far as one can tell that far in advance, it might change). The temperatures might feel differently, probably colder in Germany and Austria and warmer in Croatia.

Here's what I know for sure I will pack:

#1
New pair of skinny jeans I bought a few days ago. Unfortunately I've gained a bit of weight and all my long pants were just a smidge too tight to be comfortable or worn out. I can comfortably wear these on the way in the car.

#2
Quick drying gear brand tee to go with the skinnies and with the shorts too, of course.

#3
Sneakers, mostly for the first three days, I'd probably prefer the sandals after that.

#4/5
Socks to wear with skinnies and sneaker socks in case I want to wear the sneakers with shorts.

#6
My rain jacket.

#7
New Lands End chino shorts. They fit well, even if they aren't the most stylish. And they were only 15€.

#8/9
More tees to wear with the skinnies or shorts. I'd honestly prefer some nicer summer tops, but I didn't find anything. I'm trying to resist the urge for some last minute shopping right now.

#10
Birkenstock sandals. I'm unsure if I need another pair of shoes. My sandals are now rather worn, I could see myself getting another pair of Birkenstocks I can wear as slippers at home afterwards, because I need a new pair of house slippers anyway. Bad idea? I know the hype is over, but I've always worn Birkenstock independent of fashion.

#11-13
Summer dresses. I plan to mostly wear these in Croatia, just going for the shorts on days when we plan do be more active (like a high rope course my sister wanted to do).

#14
Denim jacket to wear over the dresses.

#15
My backpack.

#16
Bikini and swim shoes.

#17/18
Taking my summer sleepwear - shorts and old repurposed tees.

ETA #19
I think I'm going to pack my breton striped long sleeved shirt in addition to the T-shirts. I can layer it over the solid colored tees with the jeans and shorts and I guess it would work over the navy dress too in a pinch.

ETA2 #20
Bought some leggings I can wear under the jersey dresses. Thanks for the suggestion, Isabel!

ETA3 #21
Thin longsleeved tee.

ETA4 #22
I'm taking my navy wool cardigan which I had left at home the last time. Right now it's really cold and the cardi is more comfortable for the drive than anything else.

Now my question is - do I need another pair of pants? Maybe my cropped jeans? Would you buy new Birkenstocks? Should I do some last minute shopping after all to look for one or two prettier tops to go with the pants? I also think that I need some kind of pullover or something else for warmth, but my wool cardigan or pullover would probably be overkill with these temperatures... Not sure what to pack besides.

You know that I was also looking for a sun hat, but I didn't find one I liked that also fit me. I'm going to see if I need one once we get there and if yes then I'm going to buy one there.

I'm open for any and all comments and suggestions. If you made it through this, thanks for looking.
