I got the Gap army jacket a few weeks ago, and I'm pretty sure I've worn it every day since. In our current 30 degree weather it has been a good weight with the liner. It's RATE, military, and just the right length. It's washable and the liner and fur can be removed so I can wear it year round. It's loose enough to go over my heavier outfits. I think CPW is below $5 already!
I really didn't realize what a workhorse this jacket would be - must ponder what I can learn about recognizing such an item in the future, or if my impulse loves are now actually educated enough that my instincts are good without having to think it out.
Worn here with Gidigio boots and waxed skinnies (two more workhorses!)...
