I know this is a simple outfit, but it's inspired by the "utility pretty" rubric and includes the find from Angie's blog, so I thought I would share, knowing there are several people interested in these pants and that I am hoping to see them styled on others as well. This is a post-and-run because I'll be out of town for a few days. I deliberated on my regular size and a size down, but ultimately went with the size down (also what Angie recommends). I think it was the right choice for me. I bought a petite, but I should probably have ordered the "short" because I feel the knee on the petite hits me slightly high. I am quite fascinated that they offer a petite and a short (as well as regular and long). I do think this outfit could have done with a pendant necklace, but I don't actually have one in the right tones. I was happy nonetheless. I got caught in a downpour, so I looked more "pressed" this morning before that happened. I know Angie warns about dark bottoms "grinning" under light tops, but I have to tuck my camisoles in these days, because I like the soft feeling. I am rebuilding my relationship to normal pants after a long sojourn in maternity-only while waiting for my body to settle down.

The only other thing I would say for others interested in these pants is that they are quite forgiving in the seat and thigh, but relatively narrow in the calf.

Feedback welcome.
