The test is hard to do correctly because it's awfully difficult to be objective about ourselves and because the questions refer to relative differences that are hard to measure if you can't imagine the standard.
I came out Dramatic Classic the first time I did it, too -- but I think that is because many of us default to C answers when we really don't know or the answer is not obvious! The quiz version that comes with photos is a bit easier to do, I think.
Some of the DC descriptors/ suggestions resonated strongly for me -- i.e. jackets are your friend, piping or other high contrast detail, colour blocking. But some did not (suggested length of jackets, monochrome, etc.)
I think I'm more likely some type of gamine, but Kibbe got rid of the main gamine type and only has soft gamine (definitely not me) and flamboyant gamine, which doesn't entirely fit me either, although it is closer.
I do think his system can be super helpful, though, in that he emphasizes the role of line and talks about the types of detail that can be harmonious with a person. We often focus on colour, but line is equally (if not more) important. Clean, straight lines are my friend, whether I'm gamine or DC, and that is important for me to remember.
