Seeing Suz’s posts about Danier leather jackets yesterday, made me want to buy a leather jacket. However, I want to be really selective in what I add to my wardrobe this year so I tried to use the four essential shopping tools to see if I can justify the purchase. Here is Angie’s post about four essential shopping tools. http://youlookfab.com/2013/01/.....ing-tools/

Style goals : One of my style goals this year is to add more structure and polish to my wardrobe. Also, I decided to add one trendy item from Angie’s shopping lists each season. This is her list for this winter but I guess leather is fairly timeless. http://youlookfab.com/2012/12/.....haves-list. A leather jacket from Danier’s satisfies both these goals.

Shopping list: A leather jacket will fit the category of new trends from this post. http://youlookfab.com/2013/01/.....ping-list/. Light coloured jacket/blazers that I can wear well into April/May are a must for me as I run very cold and live in Eastern Ontario. It is not a wardrobe hole right now as I have an apple green blazer and light grey academy blazer (both from Gap).

A realistic budget: I don’t want to break the bank or skimp unnecessarily. Right now these jackets are on sale and if I am able to find one in a light colour that fits me well at a sale price, I will be in heaven.

A good attitude: I am still enjoying the happiness from my slouchy/structured outfit yesterday. I always shop for the body I am in today ( my weight has hardly changed at all in last 15 years). I am open to new silhouettes, colours and fabrication and trying very hard to be patient, picky and practical.

I am going to Danier after work today. Wish me luck.
