Urgent W2W Help - meet the CEO

Dear YLF..
I have a meet-the-CEO event coming up this Thursday. Our company is Business Casual. Mr. CEO wears shirt/tie/jacket all the time. I don't need to go with a suit, but i want to be on the dressier side, conservative, but a little fun. I don't think any of these are 10s, but will have to do as I really don't have time to shop. So please, please, need your help to pick the best!! Weather will still be warm low 80s.

pix 1 and 2.. same dress, different belts, different shoes (one flat, one pump). With purple plain jacket, with grey jacket with a few details. I am a little concerned if the dress is a little too body con?

pix 3.. charcoal skirt,charcoal jacket, with diff blouse/tanks. Jacket & skirt are of slightly different gray, but both have a little sheen, can't tell from a distance/picture. black wedge shoe. Sorry the pics are not good, too dark. 1st is a snake print blouse with elastic waist. 2nd is dark cobalt blue with metal embellishment at neckline. 3rd is black/red floral silk tank.

pix 4.. Same jacket as in pic 2, same tanks, one with cardigan.

I really like your dress in 1-2. I did not even think about the body-con aspect of it until you mentioned it - I guess to me it just looked like a tailored piece that fits you really well. To be more comfortable and avoid wondering about the body-con issues, I would wear it with one of the jackets in #2 (the purple looks good and it is hard to see the grey but it seems to be fine as well). I like the first two belts in #1 and the belt in #2.

I'm really taken with the crisp white shirt and tan skirt or is it a dress? Looks fantastic on you in any case. It is a little body con - so I would wear a jacket. My preference is the grey jacket - I like the angles on the jacket and think they work nicely with your outfit.

I prefer the first outfit in the fourth photo. It looks professional and polished. The tucked-in shirt gives it a nice proportion and the details on the jacket add interest and texture.

What a great opportunity - I like the looks in set #3 best although you look great in all the pictures. I would pick which ever feels the most "like you" and gives you the most confidence (no worrying about fussing with belts,etc. ) so you can focus on meeting. Go for it!

That's a dress in 1/2? It looks like a skirt/top combo! It looks great on you, and with a jacket not at all too body con (in my opinion). I love it with the purple jacket. I'd wear the pumps (but that could just be because I like to add a bit of height myself) and play around with the belts - not sure which one will look best with this combination.

Love the dress with white top and tan skirt, and I think the best styling for what you're doing is the gray jacket. Whatever you choose- please wear heels. In my last job (HR) the managers would have monthly meetings with the owners and CEO. And I noticed that the female managers always wore heels, even if they wore flats most other days. For whatever reason, it did seem to up the 'authority' in their presentation. (I wonder why? Height? Heel-power?)

My vote is the dress w/tan skirt and purple jacket -- you will be more memorable w/the purple, but in a good way. If your corporate meetings are anything like ours, there will be a sea of black and gray. And I echo what Sinead said about wearing heels .. They seem to give off a powerful and capable air, as long as they are not strappy.

I'm the odd one out. I like the left and middle options in #4 best. A little more modern but still professional.

In #4, I like the outfit with the blue top but would add a higher heel. Very polished and professional yet chic with the blue.

I do like the dress a lot, with a heel, and jacket. I think I prefer the darker jacket but it's hard to tell with the light. And I like the first belt the best, both the color and the width.
