UPS arrived: Final K/R decisions (thanks Kate)

So this is going to be a fun week ... some random puchases, NAS, and an ebay score. So excited. Would love your take on these from JCrew. Am not showing two recent rejects from ASOS which were just so obvious.

pic 1: This is what I am wearing today. No makeup, crazy floral dropped crotch harem pants. It's amazing what you will buy when 2 young DDs shop with you. These are amazingly comfortable for taking care of mum. Will probably go to DD the elder in the fall, or just be at-home loungewear.

pic 2: New Vince pants. LOVE. They fit perfectly. I think I like them best rolled, but when they are unrolled they seem more formal and would be really fun to dress up. (Umilla, I went with size 6 and am really glad.)

pic 3: added tan cashmere tee from JCrew. Final sale. Love this too. Great fit, perfect for work.

Pic 4: Jcrew black wool pencil. Final sale. Easy to love. Hope I actually wear. (Not a skirt person but seems like such a basic, and I could have fun making it a bit more playful.)

Pic 5-6 Not sure about this cashmere tee -- the color is peacock. (This one is returnable.) What do you think of it? DD also unsure. It feels a bit extra vibrant and extra green. I have it on here with pale grey wide legs which are now feeling too big and they are still pretty new -- very annoying. I also tried it with the navy curator pants and SE Circus sneaks. What do you think?

Pic 7: Not sure about this navy cropped cotton sweater. (Also returnable.) It is a basic sweater and I loved how it was styled at JCrew over a classic button-down (hence my styling). I think I like it? My only cropped sweater right now is the white one from Club Monaco. Should I keep this, or should I try to find a chunkier one?

The floral pants are fun, the Vince pants are super! The black pencil is great too. I need to upgrade mine.

Awesome outfit today! love those Vince pants, swooning over them. And the tan cashmere tee and pencil skirt are great.

I also really like both pieces you are unsure of. That shade of green is so pretty and the cropped sweater looks like fun. However, if you unsure at how much you will wear it before the weather cools off, then I might consider a chunkier version.

I love it all, but I understand your hesitation on the cashmere tee. Not so much the color (I have total sugar eye for that color though), but the fit seems a little in between -- not quite fitted, not quite fluid. Might just be me though.

The Vince pants are awesome!

I agree with Janet on the pullover. If you're hesitating, let it go. Sometimes J. Crew colours are a bit strong or clear for me. This might be one of those for you. I also think the fit is a bit in-between. I have to size up on Tippis to get a fluid fit. (I don't actually own one, but when I tried I found my regular size FIT, technically, but was snugger than I would like.)

LOVE the crop sweater and the pants. The skirt looks like a fabulous fit on you. And today's outfit is fun!

I'm leaning toward letting the green sweater go. I wouldn't want this particular sweater to be fluid, and I don't think an XS would fit my shoulders. I like the way the tan looks even in this size (which is good, since it's not returnable).

I'm also leaning toward keeping the cropped sweater. And there's probably still room in my wardrobe for a chunky one.

Great picks here, I really like the bright blue sweater, it's a fun piece and will be a nice change to add a bright to a layer during fall. The cropped sweater is a keeper for sure, it's styled perfectly here.

I love it all except maybe the bright peacock tee. It's hard to tell, but the shade seems to overwhelm your delicate coloring. The Vince pants and the pencil skirt are my favorites, but #1 is such fun so it's right up there too.

I like picture 2 and 7 the best. The only piece I'm not fond of is the light grey trousers, which look very big to me. That could just be me not into the more-fabric silhouettes. I like how the Vince pants are draping on you. I need to try mine on again to see what I think about sizing up.

I love everything in 1-4!

The green seems overpowering on you - in the other outfits I was able to see your face and then focus on the different items, whereas when I got to #5 all I could look at was the shirt. However, I do like it better in #6 than #5. Have you tried layering over it to check the versatility?

I really like #7, but if you want something chunkier then chances are you're going to keep looking for and eventually buy something chunkier. I've found that usually when I'm hesitant about keeping something I end up regreting the purchase. My hunch is that you should get a cropped sweater a lot like this one, but that this isn't the one.

LOOOOOOOOOVE. *faints* All of it! The only one that gives me slight pause is the green cashmere tee, but that may be because high necklines are death on *me* and I'm projecting. If you have doubts, though, I'm on Team Return. Everything else is Keep!
