Just a quick question about uploading photos. When I send photos to friends I usually have to change them from png to jpg or the friends can't see them. (What shall I say? I am way ahead technologically speaking.)

So I have been changing them to upload here, but is that really necessary? I guess i could experiment, but thought I'd ask. Haven't tried yet from iPad or new iPhone. I usually use laptop.
