The smaller size is the one!

Absolutely the smaller size.

Smaller size. Cuff looks too big to me. I like all your tops and shoes and bags. And... happy birthday!

The smaller size looks much better. The 100% cotton may stretch out even if it is very thick. My Jesse Kamm pants stretched and they are very thick.

I love the cuffed jeans on you, and the smaller size looks perfect. Also love the cream jeans, and your shopping outfit.

Echoing Jenni: Happy Birthday!

Your tops are sooo gorgeous. I'll take the green floral one, the black and white one and the last (brown) one thank you.

Oh, and I vote smaller size too.

Smaller size looks best in photo. Do they feel too tight? The fit in the bum is great but that may make them snug there too and if the denim is thick and stiff perhaps uncomfortable?

I disagree with people who think the cuffs are too big. I like them. Maybe it's an eye adjustment, but I think they look great. If you make them smaller they would be more like regular cuffed jeans and I think the fun of these is the wide cuff. IMO it needs to look purposeful/deliberate to work.

I'm not at all a jean expert, but the fit of nr 10-11 is the most alluring to me. Of course it can be as am a big fan of monochromatic bl&w outfit, and your shopping one is a masterpiece, not else, wow!:-)

Smaller size MUCH better. Thanks for humouring me, Sharan. Cuffs look great big and bold. You are stunning.

3-4(smaller size) are better. Love the cuffs, I think they add interest.

Size down fits better, yes.
(I'm often tempted to buy trousers too big. The boyfriend fashion didn't help. And I'm always afraid to be constricted).

Thanks, all! Much to ponder here.
Staysfit and Skylurker, the smaller ones do feel quite tight. Part of what appealed to me with the larger ones was the very comfy fit from the start.
StyleFan, I think you are onto something. I think the 100% cotton can stretch out, and I'm hoping they'll be comfy. But if not, I may take both pairs back.
Staysfit, Angie, and others who like the big cuff--I tend to agree, the wide cuff is part of what I love about the style. If I shortened the pants, I'd keep the wide cuff.
