I have a great black peacoat that I'm thinking about updating. It has a few buttons falling off and since I can sew a button, I think it would be a fairly easy task. I'm having a hard time getting a good pic of my coat, but it's similar to this one I saw on ebay in terms of color, length and buttons.

My question is what color button would look nice on the coat? I can only come up with gold, and I'm afraid that could be a little too in-your-face than what I want.
