Hey, I came back to update y'all on my shoulder pad misery. I stumbled on this Theory jacket at the Rack for almost 80% off, and decided to see if the tailor could help me out, since the rest of it was a perfect fit (this style apparently runs big for Theory, which is better for my shape).

She didn't see the shoulder pad issue at first, but agreed to remove them after I begged her to try it. What a fix! However, that made the sleeves a little too long, so she took them up from the shoulder seam and also narrowed them a bit. Voila! Best of all, the alterations were free with my Nordstrom account.

Just thought you'd be interested to know - not the easiest fix but worthwhile for that perfect fit.
