Hello! I have had the most amazing visit with my sister. My heart is flooded with happiness and I have a fresh new batch of precious memories.
Below are the lists I posted prior to my trip. I am pleased to say that I did not fall victim to any of the old favorites on my “No Matter What I Say, Don’t Let Me Look At” list. I was very successful with the items on my “Look For” list.
Scroll past the reminder lists to see the update of what actually made the trip home to Maine.

My “Look For” list:
Lighter colored shoes (probably mules and flats) to bookend my hair.
A light colored handbag (white, cream, blush, light tan?) to work with my new hair and new shoes.
Toppers....thinking some knit blazers....soft but with some structure
Soft, fluid patterned blouses (similar to the yellow I just wore, perhaps)
An asymmetrical skirt
White cropped jeans
Faux wrap top
Accessories....likely to find some scarves and jewelry
Keeping eyes open for florals, YELLOW and plaid
My “No Matter What I Say, Don’t Let Me Look At” list:
Solid color pants of any style.
Sleeveless dresses
Heels over 2”
Solid color jerseys

In my Maine bag:
Shoes! I had the best possible luck and found 7 pairs, plus a pair of sneakers that needed to be replaced. Most of the shoes are lighter colors for me. I will post a pic.
I also found my lighter colored bag....a creamy Burberry that was on deep discount (at Black Friday prices for one day only and that was my day)! There’s my plaid!
I found two soft sweater style long cardi coats: navy blue with pockets and a fab....oh my gosh, fab Karl Lagerfield that has a leopard print on the top and a solid black bottom. The black bottom zips off! Two fab cardigans in one!
Two soft floral blouses. One on a navy background and the other on an olive green (that one had to be ordered for me and is being shipped home). I did pick up one longer tunic Jersey in a gold and white stripe. ( Hello yellow!)
I did not find the asymmetrical skirt or the white cropped jeans, but I did come away with a white denim skirt, pair of anthro floral jeans on a white ground and a great pair of camouflage jeans...so fun! I also found a great dress for work...not sleeveless!
Accessories! Ooooooh, the selections! DH had given me money to purchase a special necklace that is not available in Maine, or online. The only place to get it is at one of the boutiques. Of course I tried on several, to make sure, but the first one I tried on is the one I wore home on the plane. Swooshing, over the moon, happiness factor! I also found a pair of earrings, that look beautiful with my changing hair, a scarf and a bracelet.
My stylish and fabulous twin and I always buy something the same, to commemorate our time together. This trip we both came away with the white denim skirts and matching bracelets.
I had the most special time with my twin. Leaving her was hard. It always is, but I have precious memories and a suitcase full of happiness factors with her name on them. In 10 short weeks she will be in Maine. I’ll be counting down the days until I can hug her tightly again.
Pics
1) Twins in plaid cabin pants and tops
2) shoes (not shown are nude flats that are being shipped)
3) shopping ready day 1
4) shopping ready day 2....darn the weather...the outfit was better without the sweater!

If you made it this far, thank you for your patience! Wishing you all a day filled with happiness!
