I love nude shoes--pumps, wedges, flats, you name it.
For the past month or so, I've been on a quest to add a medium height nude sandal to the mix. I wanted something I could throw on and be comfortable in for long stretches of time which meant none of the 5 inch wedges that I'm seeing everywhere. But I also wanted something sort of versatile that could go casual or a bit dressier which meant no flats. Something in the 2-3 inch heel range.
Yesterday I was in a local shoe boutique and mentioned what I was looking for to the sales lady. She suggested the Michael Kors Xander and oh my GOD am I so glad she did. I would not have picked these up--nothing about them exudes a high comfort factor but they are incredibly comfortable on (as she promised). I think the stretch fabric strap around the heel helps immeasurably on that score, as does the well cushioned sole.
Now, for those who can't do ANY heels or have very fussy feet, I don't want to lead you astray here, but for those of you who don't mind a bit of a heel but want something comfortable, I highly recommend these!
I think the style can go dressy or casual but I'm mainly in love with how good they feel on! I'm into hour 5 of wearing them today (with jeans and a silk blouse) and so far so good!!
