I just got the Geneva dress in evening blue - petite size. I LOVE IT!!! The neckline is higher than I usually go for -- I usually wear V-necks -- but I found that wearing a long pendant necklace to draw the eyes down makes it work visually for me. The sleeves are also shorter than I'd like -- I'm self-conscious about my arms -- but at least these sleeves end up angling at a diagonal on me, rather than cutting across horizontally. Despite those two issues, I still love the dress.
It is soooo comfortable and drapes beautifully. It washes well. (I've only had it a week so can't speak to durability but it seems to be well made.) I love the evening blue color since it can go casual with sneakers or flat sandals for daytime, and the deeper color works well for me with strappy heels in the evening. It layers well under a jacket.
You mention getting through a Seattle summer. If you live in Seattle: Did you know they just opened a Seattle showroom where you can make an appointment to try things on? It's in the Belltown neighborhood: https://www.universalstandard.com/pages/visit-us. (I'm not employed by Universal Standard. I just went to their open house earlier this month because I was so curious about the brand and to try things on, and now I'm a fan.)
